Today we’re sharing a newly completed basement renovation that’s especially suitable for smaller spaces. Design Highlights: This basement is approximately 500 sqft with an 8-foot ceiling height. The homeowner chose a sprayed black ceiling treatment, which gives the space a bold industrial look while keeping the ceiling visually open and uncluttered. Even with an 8-foot height, the space feels far from cramped and maintains a strong sense of openness. Paired with a carefully selected cat climbing system, the industrial style is unexpectedly softened with a playful, cozy touch—creating a unique balance that feels both edgy and warm without any visual conflict.
