Project Overview

This approximately 1,700 sq.ft. multi-functional basement was designed as a complete entertainment and lifestyle space for the entire family. The layout integrates a pool table area, bar and lounge, home gym, private theater, full bathroom with sauna, children’s activity zone, ping pong space, and a comfortable living area — truly maximizing every square foot. From a construction perspective, careful planning was key. The lighting design features 3500K LED pot lights for a natural tone, modern track lighting for focused brightness, and recessed linear strip lighting in the gym to enhance both functionality and aesthetics. All electrical wiring for the theater and KTV system was pre-planned and separated by load requirements before drywall installation. The color palette combines Benjamin Moore Wolf Gray 2127-40 and White Wisp OC-54, creating a balanced modern contrast. Flooring was finished with Vidar American Oak – Wheat Berry, installed over 2x2 Dricore Subfloor Air Plus Panels for moisture protection and comfort, complemented by 7-inch bevel step baseboards for a refined finish. The children’s area includes a climbing wall, slide, LEGO wall, and built-in storage, while the custom bar features Egger walnut finishes with waterfall detailing and integrated LED-lit wine storage. This project demonstrates how a thoughtfully designed basement can become a complete extension of the home — combining entertainment, wellness, relaxation, and family functionality in one cohesive space.
